In a message released on the occasion of National Teacher's Day (May 2nd) and International Workers' Day (May 1st) 2026, he asserted that following the claimed victory on the military front, the focus of the struggle has now shifted to the cultural and economic sectors. Mojtaba described teachers and workers as the twin pillars of the nation's progress, with teachers as an influential link in the cultural battle and workers as an effective element in the economic battle.
Mojtaba Khamenei gave specific instructions to officials and business owners to provide concrete support to workers, including avoiding layoffs wherever possible. He also invited all Iranian citizens to prioritize domestic products as a form of support for local labor. By strengthening the education sector and productivity, he expressed optimism that Iran will continue to advance despite facing the pressure of sanctions and external threats.
Previously, in a message commemorating National Persian Gulf Day on Thursday (April 30th, 2026), Mojtaba Khamenei affirmed that the Iranian people would protect nuclear technology and missile capabilities as national assets. He also declared the implementation of a new legal framework for managing the Strait of Hormuz to ensure regional security. Mojtaba stated that the bright future of the Persian Gulf lies without a foreign military presence, emphasizing Iran's shared destiny with its neighboring nations.
