Seeking Ways to Connect with the Muslim Community

Assalamu alaykum everyone. I became Muslim two years ago, but it's been tough for me to stay on track. Not just because I lack discipline, but also because I've had a hard time feeling part of the community. The masjids I've visited mostly just do the prayers, and if they have any classes or talks about the Quran, they're always in Arabic. The imam at the main mosque I go to only speaks Arabic, and I don't understand any of it. So I'm asking for advice, brothers and sisters. I'm in Laval/Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
