Schools in Gampong Sarah Mane Have Not Received the Free Nutritious Meals Program

Khairuddin, the village head (Keuchik) of Gampong Sarah Mane, Pidie Jaya Regency, stated that schools in his area have not yet been reached by the Free Nutritious Meals (Makan Bergizi Gratis/MBG) program initiated by President Prabowo Subianto. He expressed regret over this situation, noting that an initial program launch had been held in the village, but students have not yet felt its benefits to this day. Khairuddin explained that Gampong Sarah Mane is a remote area where the majority of residents work as farmers and cultivators, so the presence of the MBG program is considered very important to support meeting the nutritional needs of children. He still appreciates the government's attention through other programs targeting children. The village head hopes the MBG program can be realized soon in schools in his village so that children can get better nutritional intake.
