Our Ummah's focus on empty words without real action.
This has been on my mind for some time. Back when our Ummah was small, we stood firm for justice and made a huge difference. But now? We're so many yet we feel so powerless. And we keep getting stuck on meaningless gestures. Just look at how we react when someone doesn't publicly 'speak out' about the suffering of our brothers and sisters in Gaza. We rush to pressure them, but if they just say 'I condemn it,' we go 'Alhamdulillah, they said something!' and then... nothing changes. Even when aggression happens elsewhere, our leaders just issue statements of condemnation. Have we become so weak that we celebrate the absolute minimum? We really need to move beyond words and take real, practical steps together. On a personal level, we can boycott responsibly and make sincere dua in the last third of the night for the oppressed. And our nations must unite for the common good. I'm not saying don't hold people accountable, but we shouldn't treat a simple statement as a victory when no action follows. It's like thinking our enemies are trembling just because we posted something online.
