Brothers and sisters, how do you handle your Salah during office hours?
Assalamu alaikum everyone. This has been on my mind a lot recently, and I'd really appreciate your thoughts and experiences. JazakAllah Khair for sharing any tips. For me, Dhuhr and Asr prayers are the most challenging. It can be tough with back-to-back meetings and working on an open office floor. There's always that feeling when you have to step away in the afternoon while everyone else is focused on their work. Here are a few things I've tried doing: * Treating prayer times as important appointments in my work calendar. * Finding a quiet space, like an empty meeting room, to pray. * Occasionally praying Dhuhr and Asr together when it's absolutely unavoidable (though I try my best not to). * Speaking openly with my manager about it from the start – this was more helpful than I thought it would be. Still, I sometimes feel guilty if I'm praying quickly between calls or putting it off until the very last permissible minute. For those of you working in similar environments – how do you make sure you can pray without it affecting how people at work see you? Have you talked to your colleagues about it? Do you have a specific place to pray? Has it ever led to any misunderstanding or difficulty? I'd love to hear how others deal with this. It feels like a topic we should discuss more often.
