A Heart Seeking Guidance: My Journey from Christianity to Islam

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. I'm a Christian from Brazil who has been feeling a growing pull toward Islam. My interest started, in part, by admiring the faith and character of Muslim athletes I follow. I come to you with a sincere heart and a genuine question: What makes Islam the truth? How is the Quran different from the Bible I know? And who was Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)? My mind is full of questions, and I truly long to understand. Please share with me what you feel is most important for me to know. I am thirsty for the true path.
