NTB Police Hold Cidomo Fest 2026 on Gili Trawangan, Overall Winner Gets Umrah Prize
The West Nusa Tenggara Police held the Kapolda Cup I Decorated Cidomo Competition titled “Cidomo Fest 2026” on Gili Trawangan, North Lombok. This festival is part of the 80th Bhayangkara Day commemoration and an effort to preserve the traditional Lombok transport that has become a tourism icon of the Gili Tramena area. A total of 31 cidomos from the Janur Indah Cooperative took part, drawing the attention of both domestic and international tourists.
NTB Police Public Relations Head Commissioner Mohammad Kholid said this activity shows a commitment to maintaining local wisdom amidst modern tourism development. He stressed the importance of synergy between the government, security forces, tourism players, and the community to keep the tourism sector sustainable in this top destination.
NTB Police Chief Inspector General Kalingga Rendra Raharja flagged off the cidomo parade, which were decorated with various creative decorations and local ornaments. The judges then named contestant number 21, Irman, as the Overall Winner with a total score of 465. He gets to take home the main prize of an umrah worship package.
