A field meeting of the Council on Interethnic Relations and Interaction with Religious Associations was held in Kemerovo at the Nikolsky Cathedral. The meeting brought together the Mufti of Kuzbass, Tagir Hazrat Bikchantaev, and the muezzin of the Munira Mosque, Abdulhamid Hazrat Gardeiev.
They discussed the successes of the "Sunny Cat" center, which helps children and youth of foreign nationalities adapt to our society, as well as the preservation of Cossack cultural traditions at the "Bratina" center. Religious figures, community activists, and representatives of the Russian National Guard participated in the event.
At the Moscow House of Nationalities, a round table dedicated to the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland was held, organized by the Department of National Policy and Interregional Relations of Moscow. From the Spiritual Assembly of Muslims of Russia, the assistant to the head of the SAMR, Imam-Khatib Ilnur Hazrat Gaynutdinov, took part in the discussion. They talked about the importance of spiritual and moral education of youth, support for the families of defenders, and strengthening respect and unity in society.
Mufti of the Republic of Mordovia, Rail Hazrat Asainov, took part in the charity event "Chamomile of Wishes," supporting large families of participants in the Special Military Operation. Together with the event’s partners, he helped organize leisure and sports activities for these families.
The Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Primorsky Krai was represented at the parade of the Fifth Guards Combined Arms Army by Deputy Chairman Siren Hazrat Garifullin and regimental imam Muhammad Hazrat Bariev, highlighting the strong connection between the clergy and the army.
In the Saratov region, in Ivanteyevka, an exhibition titled "Light of Memory: Heroism of the Great Patriotic War among the Muslim Peoples of Russia" opened. The exhibition tells about the contribution of Muslims to defending the Motherland during the war and has already been visited by many schoolchildren and adults.
Mufti of the Volga region, Mukaddas Hazrat Bibarsov, visited Samara, where he met with the chairman of the RDU of the Samara region. They prayed together and discussed important community issues. Also, the first halal cafes of Turkish street food "Istanbul" opened in Samara.
In Kazan, 50 elderly Muslims received food packages from the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Tatarstan in honor of the Decade of the Elderly Day. The aid was aimed at supporting lonely and needy senior relatives.
The Kyrgyz State University named after Ishenaly Arabaev and the Moscow Islamic Institute signed a memorandum on long-term cooperation in education and experience exchange.
The Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Moscow region supported people with disabilities by delivering food packages to the Zvenigorod branch of the All-Russian Society of Disabled People.
It is also reported that by the end of the year, the project "Library in Every Mosque" will be implemented in 250 mosques in Azerbaijan, promoting spiritual enlightenment and strengthening communities.
Starting January 1, 2026, the chairmanship in the CIS bodies will pass from Tajikistan to Turkmenistan, as announced at the meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of State.
Events affecting Muslim peoples are happening worldwide: clashes occurred on the Afghanistan-Pakistan border, and the release of Palestinian prisoners is being prepared as part of peace agreements.
Islam, which appeared in the 7th century, continues to inspire and unite over a billion believers worldwide, reminding us of submission to Allah’s will and the importance of spiritual values.
