Navigating the tensions involving Iran and other nations from an Islamic perspective
Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh. Given the ongoing conflicts involving Iran and other countries, it's really heartbreaking to see the Muslim Ummah facing hardships repeatedly. When will these trials end? And honestly, it's tough to figure out where to stand spiritually. From a religious angle, Iran follows Shia Islam, and I've noticed some fellow Muslims expressing negative views towards Shia believers. It leaves me uncertain about what to pray for-can I make dua for them? If any Shia Muslims were to lose their lives in these conflicts, would they be considered shaheeds? I've got my differences with certain Shia practices, like their treatment of Mother Aisha (RA) and some theological aspects. And Iran's past actions towards other Muslim nations add to the confusion. Maybe we should just focus on human rights and justice, keeping religion aside? But then, how do we unite a divided Ummah? May Allah SWT guide us all through these challenging times.
