MPU Darul Imarah Appreciates 'Beut Kitab Bak Sikula' Program in Aceh Besar

BANDA ACEH – The Darul Imarah Subdistrict Consultative Council of Ulama (MPU) in Aceh Besar has expressed its support and appreciation for the 'Beut Kitab Bak Sikula' program initiated by the Aceh Besar Regency Government. The Chairman of MPU Darul Imarah, Tgk Agus Setiawan Jamal, stated that this program is a strategic step to strengthen the Islamic foundation of the younger generation from an early age within the school environment. According to Tgk Agus, integrating scripture learning into formal education addresses the moral and religious challenges faced by today's generation. The program is viewed not just as supplementary education but as part of an effort to build students' character and ethics sustainably, while also providing a basic understanding of fardhu ain (obligatory religious knowledge). Tgk Agus emphasized that the program aligns with Aceh's special status as a region implementing Islamic sharia. He called on all community elements, including educators, parents, and village officials, to collaborate in making it a success.
