MBG Electric Motor Project Accused of Markup, Linked to Similar Chinese Product on Alibaba

The procurement project for electric motors for the operational needs of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program has come under the spotlight after content creator Aryo Pamungkas uploaded a viral video on Sunday (April 12, 2026). In the video, Aryo alleges suspected price inflation (markup) regarding the Emmo JVX GT electric motorcycles used by the National Nutrition Agency (BGN). He claimed these motorcycles are suspected to be rebranded from a Chinese product, the Kollter ES1-X Pro, which is found on Alibaba for around IDR 10 million, far below the BGN's procurement price of IDR 42 million per unit. Aryo claimed to have compared the specifications using artificial intelligence and found many identical features. He calculated a potential profit margin difference of up to IDR 32 million per unit, with a total procurement of 21,800 motorcycles. However, the Kollter ES1-X Pro is sold at a premium price in international markets like the United States, reaching USD 7,499 to USD 7,698 or equivalent to IDR 127 million to IDR 130 million, so the discovery of the IDR 10 million price on Alibaba is of questionable validity. The public is now calling for a thorough audit of this project.
