Brothers and Sisters with Struggles: A Simple Reminder
Assalamu Alaykum, everyone. I'm gonna keep this short because I don't want to write a whole book. Lately, it feels like so many of the conversations I see are about dealing with anxiety, sadness, or really heavy thoughts. Honestly, a lot of you should probably talk to a counselor or someone who knows how to help – that's the real professional advice. But since I'm not an expert, I just have one little thing to say, seriously: For the sake of Allah, just start moving. Go for a walk, do some exercises, hit the gym if you can – just get active. Stop letting yourself stay stuck. You'd be surprised how much moving your body can lift your spirits. Fight that heaviness with some action. Get up, make that effort, and trust in Allah's plan.
