Life After the Day of Judgment - What Comes Next?

Salam alaikum, dear brothers and sisters. Imagine Qiyamah has passed. All souls have been raised, accounts settled, and the scales balanced by Allah’s infinite mercy and justice. The believers, by His grace, have entered Jannah, while those who rejected faith are in hellfire. So now… what actually occurs after this? Like, does everything just go on in that state forever? What do the Qur’an and Sunnah say about the life of the people of Paradise and the punishment of the other? I’d love to hear insights, with references if possible.
