Leader of a Padepokan in Pekalongan Faces 12 Years in Prison over Alleged Sexual Violence
The head and caretaker of the Padang Ati Pekalongan padepokan, AKF (54), is facing a maximum sentence of 12 years in prison and a fine of Rp300 million. The suspect is charged under Article 6 Letter C of Law Number 12 of 2022 on Sexual Violence Crimes (TPKS) for alleged abuse of power over his female students.
AKF’s lawyer, Arif NS, said his client denies all accusations and hopes investigators will uphold the presumption of innocence. Meanwhile, the police confirmed they have at least two pieces of evidence, including statements from six victim witnesses who are current and former students.
The victims’ lawyer, Ahmad Fauzi, praised the Pekalongan City Police for their swift action and stated they’re ready for trial with a full legal team.
