Last Day of Blusukan in Lampung, Jokowi Buys Up UMKM Products
Indonesia's 7th President Joko Widodo wrapped up his blusukan in Lampung on Sunday (6/28/2026) by visiting Kota Gajah District, Central Lampung. Thousands of residents welcomed him, and Jokowi bought UMKM products like iced milk coffee, fruit rujak, and banana chips, while treating the kids. This activity was a show of support for UMKM, and locals voiced their aspirations for road repairs.
Jokowi continued his visit to Nurul Qodiri Islamic Boarding School in Central Lampung. "This afternoon, alhamdulillah I could make it here. I'm really thankful to Kiai Imam Suhadi and all the boarding school staff and students who welcomed me so warmly," he said. Jokowi emphasized he's still the same as before, even though he once served as president.
At the boarding school, Jokowi met college friends, including his junior, Utama Priyadi, who recalled their time at the Faculty of Forestry. "Alhamdulillah, I got to meet a senior I haven't seen in ages. The last time we met was during his first term as president," Utama said. He also remembered Jokowi's love for mountain climbing.
This visit underscored Jokowi's closeness with the people and his support for UMKM, as well as his ties with the pesantren community.
