Korlabi Highlights Pig Logo at Maulid Celebration, Demands Firm Action
Legal and political observer Damai Hari Lubis, as Coordinator of Korlabi, has highlighted the controversy surrounding a Maulid Nabi event that used a pig head logo and the community name 'Bagong Mogok'. This community was founded by Asep Guntur Rahayu, the Deputy of Enforcement at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). According to him, this is not merely a mistake but a provocation that could potentially divide the Muslim community and disrupt national stability as President Prabowo Subianto's administration approaches its two-year mark.
Korlabi has presented two main demands to President Prabowo: summon the Chair of the KPK to dismiss Asep Guntur Rahayu, and instruct the National Police Chief to investigate the motives and background of the perpetrators. Damai stressed that this incident constitutes an insult to Islamic teachings and is part of a political conspiracy agenda.
Damai emphasized that the President must be cautious, investigate this case seriously, and take firm action without haste. This is considered important given that the administration is still in its early consolidation phase. He also recalled the President's statement about his commitment to serving the nation and the state.
