KH Nurul Huda Djazuli Leads Prayer at NU’s 2026 Munas-Konbes, Stresses Sincerity for Board Members
The caretaker of Al-Falah Ploso Islamic Boarding School in Kediri, KH Nurul Huda Djazuli, led the prayer at the opening of NU’s 2026 National Conference and Grand Consultation at the school on Saturday evening (June 20, 2026). In his sermon, he emphasized that all NU board members should carry out their mandate wholeheartedly and sincerely, following the example of NU’s elder scholars. He shared the principle that the life of NU is closely tied to pesantren, and prayed that Islamic propagation within the NU community and pesantren would keep thriving.
The Munas-Konbes opening was marked by Rais Aam of PBNU KH Miftachul Akhyar striking a historic kenteng nine times. The kenteng was made from a Dutch bomb that failed to detonate when they attacked the pesantren, which was then turned into a bell to mark prayer times and student activities.
