Iran Attacks Oil Facility in Fujairah, UAE, Three Indian Citizens Injured

On Monday, May 4, 2026, the Iranian military launched a drone attack on the Industrial Oil Zone in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates (UAE). This marks the first such attack since the ceasefire with the United States came into effect on April 7. As a result of the strike, three Indian citizens were injured, and major fires broke out in the affected buildings. The UAE government stated that Fujairah’s civil defense team immediately responded to the fires and worked to bring them under control. The attack coincided with an announcement from UAE authorities that they successfully intercepted three Iranian missiles.
