Assalamu alaikum. At the IV Interregional Scientific and Practical Conference "Interfaith Dialogue in the Urals," there was a seminar called "Imams' School," where religious figures from the Chelyabinsk, Sverdlovsk, and Orenburg regions gathered. The event took place at the "Abu Hanifa" mosque.
With warm words, the chief mufti of the Ural Federal District, Rinat Hazrat Raev, the chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Sverdlovsk Region, Radifulla Hindullin, and a representative of the Department of Internal Policy of the Sverdlovsk Region, Boris Perminov, addressed the participants.
Then, officials spoke about the most pressing issues concerning the interaction of religious organizations and the state.
Igor Tikhonov, head of the department for anti-terrorism protection, talked about the current requirements for the protection of religious sites.
Representatives of the Ministry of Justice for the Sverdlovsk Region-Yulia Baidieva and Irina Kudryashova-gave detailed explanations on matters related to the reporting documentation of religious communities.
Consultant for extremism prevention Marat Rifkhatovich Tazitdinov focused on modern trends in preventing extremist manifestations in the ethnoconfessional environment.
These topics raised a lot of questions among the imams, and they took the opportunity to clarify all the pressing points-about the anti-terrorism protection of mosques, about reporting procedures, and about current anti-extremist legislation.
The seminar ended with a speech from the mufti of the Orenburg region, Alfit Hazrat Sharipov; he shared experiences in religious and educational work of Muslim communities based on examples from Orenburg.
By the way, just a reminder: Islam appeared in the 7th century and had a significant impact on the history and culture of many peoples. The word "Islam" means submission to the will of Allah in Arabic, and today the religion has over a billion followers.
