IKABU Provides 50 Innovas to Pick Up 6,000 Participants of the 35th NU Congress in Tambakberas Jombang
The Nusantara Alumni Family Association of Bahrul Ulum (IKABU) has prepared 50 Toyota Innovas to support the mobility of participants of the 35th Nahdlatul Ulama Congress at the Bahrul Ulum Islamic Boarding School (PPBU) in Tambakberas, Jombang, on August 27–31, 2026. The fleet will pick them up from Jombang Station, bus terminals, and Juanda International Airport Surabaya.
KH Abdurrozaq Sholeh (Gus Rozaq), Chairman of YPPBU, said providing the fleet is a real show of support from alumni. ‘Alhamdulillah, alumni through IKABU have stated their readiness to provide around 50 Toyota Innovas to help with transportation services for the congress participants,’ he said. An estimated 6,000 participants are expected from all over Indonesia.
IKABU Central Chairman Faizun Amir emphasized the alumni's commitment to assist the local committee in various fields such as logistics and documentation. This support is a form of service to their alma mater and NU. The commitment was strengthened at a gathering forum at Graha IKABU PPBU Tambakberas, Saturday (7/18).
