Heartbreaking: Palestinians forced to demolish their own homes

Can't believe how heartbreaking this is: Palestinians in East Jerusalem are being forced to tear down their own homes because Israel denies them building permits. Families are given an impossible choice-demolish it yourself or pay the municipality up to $39,000 to do it. One woman described demolishing the house where 8 family members lived, including 3 kids, and still facing a $14,600 fine. They're left homeless, psychologically shattered, and scattered.
