Grandpa in Menganti Arrested by Gresik Police for Sexual Abuse of His Own Grandchild

The Gresik police have arrested a grandfather, identified as W (61) from Menganti District, Gresik, on suspicion of sexually abusing his 14-year-old biological grandchild. The arrest was made after a police report was filed on June 5, 2026. The Head of Criminal Investigation, AKP Arya Widjaya, explained that the sexual abuse happened repeatedly. The police have conducted a crime scene investigation, questioned several witnesses, and seized related evidence.
