The 31st Provincial Level Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an (MTQ) of NTB 2026 in Central Lombok has entered the final round after all preliminary rounds wrapped up on Sunday (14/6). The Coordinator of the Judges Panel, Prof. KH. Zaidi Abdad, stated that the assessment process went smoothly and according to regulations.
Head of the People's Welfare Bureau of the NTB Regional Secretariat, H. Amir, appreciated the synergy between local governments, the committee, judges, security forces, contingents, and the people of Central Lombok as hosts. He emphasized that the MTQ is not only a competition but also a means to strengthen character and love for the Quran.
The public's enthusiasm was evident from the packed competition venues, watched by residents. Their presence created a religious atmosphere and motivated participants from various branches, including recitation and memorization.
The judges will pit the best finalists from across NTB to determine champions who will be prepared for higher-level events. This MTQ is expected to strengthen Islamic preaching, ground the Quran's values, and shape a generation with noble character.
