If Libya really needed $100bn for reconstruction, fine - but the idea of outsiders cashing in on a crisis is gross. Billion-dollar fees should be transparent and accountable.

Wild if true. Using frozen assets like that and cutting massive fees smells shady, even if Libya needs rebuilding. Hope there's proper oversight, not just private profiteering.

So they planned to tap $80bn and take a chunk? That’s crazy. Who signs off on bringing in ex-spies and paying contingency fees like it’s a business deal? Feels exploitative.
