Driver in Pelalawan Dies Under Unusual Circumstances

A driver with initials RA (32) was found dead at his residence in Pangkalan Kerinci Barat Village, Pelalawan Regency, on Monday (April 13, 2026) around 10:30 AM local time. The body of the man, who worked as a driver, was discovered lifeless, hanging from a door frame. Head of Public Relations for the Pelalawan Police, AKP Thomas Bernandes Siahaan, stated that based on initial investigations, the victim had been involved in an argument with his wife for two days prior to the incident. The cause of the dispute is suspected to be the victim spending travel money that was meant for work expenses. The body was first found by a fellow driver, HA (21), who lived in the same house. After receiving the report, police personnel went to the scene and examined several witnesses.
