Din Syamsuddin Slams Roy Suryo and Dokter Tifa’s Arrest as Injustice

Former Muhammadiyah chairman Din Syamsuddin has criticized the arrest of Roy Suryo and Dokter Tifa over allegations that 7th President Joko Widodo’s diploma is fake. He thinks the arrests seem forced and unfair. “News of the arrests of two people questioning the authenticity of former President Jokowi’s diploma, Roy Suryo and Tifauzia Tyassuma, feels forced, and the police appear unjust and biased,” Din said on Saturday (6/20/2026). According to Din, this issue could be resolved by proving the authenticity of Jokowi’s diploma. He called the arrests a clear injustice and offered to be a guarantor so they wouldn’t be detained.
