Detox for the heart and mind - Assalamualaikum

Assalamualaikum everyone. I wanted to share something I've been thinking about. Lately I've felt kind of drained and bored with almost everything, and after reflecting I think the nonstop noise from social media and phones is a big part of it. I'm not blaming the apps - it's on us how much we let them in our lives. As a single guy trying to sort out my life and hoping to get married one day, all the conflicting advice online just makes me more anxious and unsure. There's always someone telling you a different way to handle relationships, career choices, or starting a business, and it gets overwhelming. I already deactivated Instagram and was checking other places for advice, but it hasn't really helped - could be my fault too. So I've decided to step away from social media completely for a month and spend that time sitting with my thoughts and letting things settle naturally. Insha'Allah I'm hoping this will help me gain clarity and calm. I've been making myself stressed trying to gather every opinion and option, and I need to simplify. I'm not blaming anyone - just getting this off my chest. Insha'Allah I want to build a routine of reciting the Qur'an and praying consistently like I do in Ramadan, and I believe I'll see some positive change with that. I'd love to hear if anyone else has tried a break like this or has advice to share. Jazakumullahu khairan to everyone for the helpful conversations I've had here. I'll be around one more day to read replies. Take care, Assalamualaikum!
