Churches in Jombang Prepare Free Lodging to Welcome NU Congress
A number of churches in Jombang Regency, together with the Jaringan NU Kultural (JANUR), have prepared three free lodging houses for out-of-town visitors coming to attend, cover, or enliven the 34th Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Congress at Bahrul Ulum Islamic Boarding School in Tambakberas.
This collaboration involves the Jawi Wetan Christian Church (GKJW) Jombang, the Indonesian Christian Church (GKI) Jombang, and the Inter-Church Cooperation Body (BAMAG) Jombang.
The three lodging houses are the GKJW Guest House on Jalan Adityawarman 1 (capacity 10 people, reservation: Kung Sholeh 085737350668), the GKI Pastoral Guest House on Jalan Tugu Gang III (capacity 4 people, reservation: Rev. Diah K. Nuraini 081335299815), and the BAMAG lodging house in Weru Hamlet, Mojongapit (capacity 20 people, reservation: Rev. Kristian Muskanan 085102241588).
JANUR Jombang coordinator, Aan Anshori, stated that this initiative is the church's contribution to provide convenience for anyone wishing to participate in the Congress. All facilities are provided free of charge.
