Avoid Overcharging Customers

From the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), as shared by Abu Huraira: On the Day of Judgment, there are three kinds of people Allah will not address, nor cleanse of their sins, and they'll suffer a severe penalty. One of them is a seller who, after the Asr prayer, falsely swears by Allah that he received a certain high offer for his goods. The buyer trusts him and purchases it at that inflated price, even though no such offer was ever made. This is a clear warning against dishonest pricing in business. May Allah protect us from such deceitful practices. Ameen.
