As-salamu alaykum - At least 21 killed in fresh Israeli strikes on Sunday in Gaza

Just sharing the latest: Gaza’s civil defence said a string of Israeli air attacks on Sunday killed at least 21 people across the territory, as both Israel and Hamas blamed the other for breaking the ceasefire. Mahmud Bassal, a spokesman for the rescue agency that works under Hamas authority, reported that six people died when a strike hit a group of civilians in Zuwaida town in central Gaza. He also said six others, including children, were killed and 13 were wounded in two separate strikes near Nuseirat, also in central Gaza. Hospitals Al-Aqsa Martyrs and Al-Awda confirmed the deaths. A drone strike struck a tent sheltering displaced families near Asdaa City, north of Khan Yunis, killing a woman and two children, Bassal said. In western Zuwaida a strike killed a journalist and one other person and injured several more. Another attack hit a tent by the Al-Ahli Club area in Nuseirat, killing two and injuring others, and an airstrike in eastern Jabalia in the north killed two more, according to Bassal. The Israeli military told AFP it was looking into these casualty reports. Later on Sunday Israel said it carried out new strikes on Hamas targets in southern Gaza and said it had closed crossings for aid convoys, accusing Hamas of violating the truce. “The transfer of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip has been halted until further notice, following Hamas’s blatant violation of the agreement,” a security official told AFP.
