Agricultural Modernization: Jember Govt Pushes Youth to Join Farmer Group Boards

The Jember Regency government is encouraging regeneration in the agricultural sector by inviting young people to join the management of farmer groups. This was conveyed by Jember Regent Muhammad Fawait, who sees that agricultural modernization needs innovation from millennials and Gen Z. “We’ve instructed the TPHP Office to immediately coordinate with sub-district heads, Gapoktan, and farmer groups. The aim is clear, to bring young people into the management structure,” Fawait said.
