AMMAN: Jordan’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities on Saturday welcomed the UK’s decision to update its travel advice and reclassify most parts of the kingdom as safe for travel. In a statement, the ministry said the move reflects Jordan’s security and stability and reinforces its position as a destination for tourists from around the world. The ministry said the updated guidance was expected to boost confidence among European travelers and support Jordan’s tourism sector, which remains a key contributor to the national economy.
