A verse that makes me stop and think, SubhanAllah
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Surah Al-Kahf, verse 109: Say, "If the sea were ink for the words of my Lord, the sea would surely be used up before the words of my Lord are finished, even if we brought another like it for help." This really hits me – what a miracle the Qur'an is. Every single part, every letter and verse, is perfectly placed by Allah. The order of the surahs is a sign in itself. Human works are often long, multi-volume, and hard to grasp without deep study. Yet the Qur'an is one book, revealed in such beautiful Arabic, unchanged and preserved, and anyone can understand it if they truly open their heart. Allah could have made the Qur'an longer, but in His wisdom, He chose exactly this concise form. Isn't that amazing? I think many of us forget that while today we have printed or digital Qur'an copies everywhere – alhamdulillah – this is still Allah's direct speech to us. We often wish Allah would speak to us or show us a miracle, but the Qur'an is that miracle. Allah revealed it to all of us, and we need to listen. But because it's so easy to access now, we tend to take it for granted. I started reading just one page a day with translation and tafsir, and I keep finding things that surprise me. Brothers and sisters, Let's not let the Qur'an gather dust on a shelf, or be a bookmark we promise to return to and then ignore. Let's not face regret in the grave or on the Day when we're asked about our deeds. Wassalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah
