A Reminder That Helped Me, Maybe It'll Help You Too
I came across this on social media and wanted to share it here. Adult content is basically secret zina. And secret zina hurts two things: Your life after death and your blessings in this world. You put in the effort, you make du'a, but your finances feel blocked. Here's why: A lot of us think rizq is just money. But the Qur'an shows it's every good thing Allah gives us: • Money • Chances in life • Useful knowledge • Inner calm • Good family ties • Time well spent • A heart connected to Him All of that comes from Allah alone. He says: "And whoever is mindful of Allah, He will make a way out for them and provide for them from sources they never imagined." (Qur'an 65:2-3) Look at that-Allah ties provision to taqwa. Not skills, not connections, not luck. Taqwa. Adult content makes people think: "It's not actual zina." But the Prophet ﷺ taught us: "The eyes commit zina, and their zina is looking." The sin happens on a screen, but the harm reaches the soul. Ever wonder how some folks earn a little yet have so much barakah in it? And others earn loads but stay stressed, never content? That's because rizq isn't about how much you get. It's about the blessing in it. People often ask: "Why do I feel stuck?" "Why don't my du'as feel answered?" "Why does my time feel wasted?" Maybe Allah hasn't left you. Maybe there's just something between you and Him that needs clearing. If you're struggling with this habit, don't let Shaytan fool you into thinking there's no way out. The One who sees the sin also sees the tears of regret. The One who saw you slip is waiting for you to come back. Cut off whatever is pulling you away from Him. Let your private moments be filled with what you'd gladly present to Allah. Because the real loss isn't money-it's losing nearness to the Provider. And the best rizq isn't wealth-it's a heart that can still turn back to Him.
