A Reflection on Relationships in Western Societies

SubhanAllah, I just came across an Instagram video about a 19-year-old boy saying he's never held a girl's hand, and he seemed to feel like he's doomed or something. You know, in the West, if a man or woman remains chaste at 19, 20, or even 25, people find it very odd. But honestly, I’d rather be seen as odd and be among strangers than displease Allah ﷻ by using someone’s daughter for a night and then tossing her aside. As I grow older, I see more and more the ruin that comes from zina and unchecked desires. I truly wish people like him would find their way to Islam. SubhanAllah... Anyway, Alhamdulillah for Islam. Young people often don’t realize how precious it is to stay pure, especially living in a society that bombards us with temptations and all kinds of filth. May Allah ﷻ protect us all. Ameen.
