Let’s Talk About Grooming Gangs: A Collection of Useful References
Assalamu alaikum. Since this topic is being discussed again, I’m sharing a collection of past materials for your reference. We can focus on two things at the same time:
* Speak out against grooming and abuse as serious crimes, and hold offenders accountable no matter their background or faith. Islam commands justice.
* Speak out against trolls and Islamophobes who, even after admitting bias in some "reports" and seeing Muslims condemn these crimes, still aren’t satisfied and rush to blame all Muslims collectively-yet somehow always forget to do that with other groups.
Don’t let trolls and Islamophobes trick you into thinking we must accept collective guilt or punishment just because someone you don’t know, who happens to share your faith, did something wrong.
