5 SPPI Participants Died During Military Training, Defense Ministry: No Heavy Physical Training Yet
Head of BPSDM Kemhan Major General Ketut Gede Wetan stated that the material given to prospective managers of the Koperasi Desa Merah Putih and Koperasi Kampung Nelayan did not include heavy physical training. In the initial stage, physical activities only involved gymnastics, walking, PBB, and PPM.
The first phase focused on instilling discipline and defending the country, with no heavy physical activities yet. After that, participants attended managerial materials from the Ministry of Cooperatives or Ministry of Marine Affairs in parallel.
The number of SPPI military basic training participants who died has increased by one, bringing the total to five. The five participants are Yonanda Muhammad Taufiq, Anisa Muyassaroh, Novia Rahmadhani Sihotang, Muhammad Rifki Renaldi Gunawan, and Nola Dya Sari.
