YANMU's Rihlah Visits Bahrul Ulum Islamic Boarding School in Jombang, Donates Two Ambulances and a Thousand Qurans
The Anugerah Nusantara Al Mubarokah Foundation (YANMU) donated two ambulances to the Bahrul Ulum Islamic Boarding School in Tambak Beras, Jombang, on Friday (7/8). One Luxio-type ambulance was directly given to the boarding school, while a Hi Ace-type ambulance will be used during the NU Congress on August 27-31, 2026. In addition, YANMU also donated a thousand copies of the Quran to various boarding schools in Java.
The handover was carried out by YANMU's Deputy Chairman, Syahdhana H Baswara, to the caretaker of Bahrul Ulum, K.H. Hasib Wahab Chasbullah. Syahdhana stated that this ambulance donation symbolizes respect and support for the role of boarding schools as centers of education, preaching, and community service, and is expected to improve health services within the boarding school environment.
This activity is part of YANMU's Rihlah Kemanusiaan program which has been running since August 3, starting from the PBNU Office in Jakarta. After Bahrul Ulum, the group will continue its journey to boarding schools in Situbondo and Jember. Previously, YANMU had visited the Al Hidayah Habib Haidar Study Group in Semarang, Al Anwar 1 and 2 Sarang Boarding Schools, as well as Al Falah Ploso Boarding School and Lirboyo Kediri Boarding School.
