When we guard our gaze, it preserves the light in our faces.

Assalamu alaikum. I was thinking today about how true the idea is that looking at what we shouldn’t can take away the brightness and peace from a person’s face. This comes from the concept of guarding our eyes, which helps keep our hearts pure. SubhanAllah, we can literally see the difference in ourselves when we are careful about what we look at. May Allah protect us and keep our hearts and gazes clean. Ameen.
