When Duas Seem Unanswered: A Tired Heart Speaks
Ya Allah, I’ve been making dua for so many years now. I’ve prayed Tahajjud, done istighfar, sent salawat. I’ve begged during the time between Adhan and Iqamah, in the rain, while traveling-those moments when we’re told duas are accepted. I kept full hope and yaqeen. But now… I’m just exhausted. I still raise my hands and ask, but deep down, I don’t really believe anymore. Not once have I seen a single dua come true. I know the answers: maybe Allah gives something different, maybe there’s wisdom, I’ve heard it all. But how can it be that every single time I don’t get what I ask for? Not even once? They say without yaqeen, no dua is answered-but my yaqeen has dried up. What am I supposed to do now?
