Three journalists killed in Israeli strike on marked press car in Lebanon
Three journalists were killed in an Israeli airstrike on their clearly marked press vehicle in southern Lebanon. Israel claimed one was linked to Hezbollah, but his employer described him as a prominent war correspondent. Lebanese leaders condemned it as a blatant crime and violation of international law. The WHO also reported paramedics were killed in separate attacks, severely disrupting healthcare. The CPJ says Israel has killed more journalists than any other nation in its recorded history.
