Thousands of Quran Teachers and Memorizers in Nganjuk Receive Incentives from Regent Marhaen

A total of 8,089 TPA/TPQ teachers and Quran memorizers (huffazh) in Nganjuk Regency received cash incentives of Rp1,000,000 each from Regent Marhaen Djumadi during a Coaching Assembly at Anjuk Ladang Stadium on Saturday (6/27). The aid was distributed to 7,654 TPA/TPQ teachers and 435 huffazh, with a total budget of over Rp8 billion, as a token of appreciation for their dedication in shaping the character of the younger generation through Quran education. Regent Marhaen emphasized the local government’s commitment to continue supporting religious education as the foundation of character building, although he acknowledged that the incentive amount hasn’t yet matched the recipients’ devotion.
