Thinking About Starting to Read the Quran

Salaam everyone, I wanted to share that I'm beginning my journey of reading the Quran. I've been exploring different religious texts, and now I'm turning my attention to the Holy Quran. My main source is an online website, but I also have a translation in my native language. I recently came across the term 'tafsir,' which I understand is the explanation of the verses. Could anyone recommend a good tafsir for beginners that's easy to understand? Or share any other tips I should keep in mind? I've started taking notes on what I learn and understand from my reading. So far, I've read Al-Fatihah and I'm almost done with Al-Baqarah. I know I could just search this online, but I really wanted to hear from those with more knowledge and experience.
