The West's Double Standards Against Islam Are So Frustrating

Assalamu alaikum everyone. I know the title sounds obvious, and we're used to Islam being a target, especially with how hypocritical folks in the US can be. Maybe some of you know about this or not, but my rant is mainly about the United States. I recall during Ramadan, when Muslims prayed in congregation at Times Square in New York, the whole US and West threw a fit. They made derogatory remarks, calling it a disturbance and taking up space-basically, they couldn't stand an Islamic prayer being done in public. And mind you, this has happened every Ramadan for six years. Nobody bats an eye when other communities have their parades causing disruptions in the city. Lately, if you live in the US or follow it, you'd know the NBA Finals are happening, and New York is close to winning. The chaos and disruptions these fans have caused is insane-riots, beatdowns, invasions, you name it. And it's not just a small group; it's genuinely a lot of New York's population. Where are those people who caused problems for our prayers now? God forbid if they win these finals, they'll literally burn the city down. There's this unified glory in them winning, and they'll cause all sorts of trouble. I know you might wonder why I'm comparing the two, or maybe I'm not getting my point across just typing this off the top of my head. But trust me, you had to feel it when it happened. The things Muslims have to put up with, the stuff others justify, is unbearable at times. I pray Allah protects Islam and makes it victorious till eternity, ameen.
