The Urgency of NU Leadership That Understands Health Facility and Service Management

Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) is way behind Muhammadiyah in the health sector, especially when it comes to the number of hospitals and how integrated they are, referral systems, medical education, the pharmaceutical industry, and modern management. Even though it has a huge mass base and a lot of health workers, the fragmentation of its institutions and decentralization are holding back the development of a unified national health ecosystem.
