The association awarded the mufti and the priest for their contributions to supporting the defenders of the Fatherland.
Assalamu alaikum. The chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Sverdlovsk region, Mufti Abdulkuddus Asharin, and the priest of the Orthodox church in the settlement of Novaya Utka received a public award named after the Ural Volunteer Tank Corps in the nomination "With Prayer and Faith," as reported by regional spiritual circles.
The award is established in memory of the heroism of the Ural Volunteer Tank Corps, formed during the Great Patriotic War in the territories of Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, and the former Molotov regions. The award ceremony took place on Friday at the district officers' house. As noted by one of the organizers, the award has a grassroots character and serves as a reminder of past events and current affairs important for the Ural people.
80 years ago, the people of the Urals, guided by love for their homeland, helped the front: factory workers exceeded production plans and gave up part of their savings to support the soldiers. And today, many uphold those good traditions and moral guidelines - actively supporting participants in the special operation.
The Orthodox and Muslim communities of the region are jointly collecting humanitarian aid and regularly sending necessary supplies to those who are currently defending. Additionally, the muftiyat and the Orthodox church provide spiritual support to military personnel: clergymen from both faiths travel to service areas with missions of aid and visit military units in the region.
Peace and blessings to you.
