Surabaya City Gov Fires East Java Raka Raki Runner-Up After Alleged Abortion Case

The Surabaya City Government has terminated the employment of Tio Ferdian Rahmana, the Runner-Up of Raka Raki East Java, after his alleged involvement in an abortion request went viral. Tio was a non-ASN contract worker hired since 2024. Head of General Affairs, Protocol and Leadership Communication, Ario Bagus Permadi, stated that the dismissal was carried out following a clarification on Monday (10/8). Tio initially served as an MC, but since 2025 he was assigned as a regular staff. The dismissal was based on a violation of the performance contract.
