PT SGN Corporate Secretary Yunianta said land extensification is a key pillar in transforming the sugar industry. “By June 2026, PT SGN together with partner farmers has successfully developed nearly 75 thousand hectares of sugarcane area. This achievement shows a joint commitment to expanding the national sugarcane production base while strengthening raw material supply security,” he said, Saturday (6/20).
The program is carried out through partnerships with farmers, technical assistance, use of superior varieties, and land optimization. SGN is optimistic that these ongoing efforts can improve raw material availability and the competitiveness of the national sugar industry.
