Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, and Pakistan Agree on a Joint Defense Pact
Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Pakistan signed the Makkah Joint Defense Pact during a meeting at Al-Safa Palace in Makkah. The summit was attended by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
The pact makes it clear that a military attack on any one of them will be considered an attack on all three. This commitment includes beefing up joint security and ramping up defense cooperation.
This move is expected to support peace, security, and stability in the region, and to create safer and more prosperous conditions for all three countries.
