PBNU Opens Correction Period for NU 35th Congress Participants, Releases Provisional List
The Nahdlatul Ulama Central Board (PBNU) has released the Provisional List of Participants (DPS) Phase I for the 35th NU Congress. The congress will be held on 27–31 August 2026 at Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Islamic Boarding School, Jombang. A total of 501 organizational structures are included in the DPS, consisting of 31 PWNU, 456 PCNU, and 14 PCINU. This list was compiled based on data verification up to 31 July 2026.
All PWNU, PCNU, and PCINU are given until 6 August 2026 to review and submit data corrections. PBNU Secretary General Saifullah Yusuf stated that any feedback will be gathered as the basis for re-validation before DPS Phase II is determined on 7 August 2026.
PBNU asserts that every verified administrative unit is entitled to send four official delegates: the rais, katib, chairperson, and secretary. This process is an effort to maintain transparent and accountable organizational governance. PBNU invites all parties to actively participate so that the participant list is accurate and can be accounted for.
